In addition to commercial work, Jiménez has realized numerous other works and publications on culture, art and education. He has been the official photographer of the International Cervantino Festival, the "Muestras Nacionales de Teatro", and the Gran Festival in Mexico City. He has documented more than 22 indigenous groups throughout Mexico. He has been documenting the haciendas of the State of Querétaro and producing calendars on those haciendas for the past nine years. He currently has a book on the topic underway, to be released in 2008.
